First PAD shot - 001/365

Just made it in time. My Venus Flytrap flowered on New Years Eve, I don't know if it is unusual for them to flower, but I haven't seen it before. So, here it is for anyone else who has never seen one. The stalk that the flower and buds are on is 13 inches long.

What a great start for you 2006 PAD. I love the colors. I have never seen a venus fly trap in real life, much less one in bloom and this blossem is spectacular.

Keep em coming :)

Excellent perspective and use of DOF. I've never seen one flower before, so this was a real treat.

Yes, that's a good start to the Project. I like it a lot. I really thought Venus flytraps would have pinkish flowers, though. ;-)
