Hound Tor (3/30)

Day 3 of 30 days of "Where I Live". This shot was taken standing here, I have rotated the map so that it shows the orientation of the image (pointing up).

This is Hound Tor, one of the better known tors on Dartmoor. I didn't get very close as we were busy going elsewhere. I also think I may have overprocessed it a bit :-\

Well :) Thank you for the Baskerville's Dog place. It is really massive structure. I hope one day you will get closer to it.

I would love to see a closer version of it too, looks so amazing sitting in the middle of the flat land. I never did get to Dartmoor, I was due to shoot endurance riding in a few places around Cornwall and Dartmoor when the Foot and Mouth hit and the whole year was cancelled and I left for USA a few months later.

LOVE it!!! It's so very different from most places around here. I haven't actually "themed" my month's pictures. I was going to do that, but.....

It's an amazing outcropping. I am truly enjoying all the green grass! A beautiful reminder of the spring to come.
