The Tree That Was Left Behind

Tuesday, February 14, 2006

A small part of the view from a lay-by on the "Great Western Bypass" behind Totnes. I don't know what exactly the bypass bypasses, but it is a much smaller road than the name suggests ;)

I thought the tree looked like it was trying to catch up with the ones over the top of the hill, hence the odd title.

What a cool shot.

Neat walls with the moss and such wide open space. That tree looks like a great subject to use if you wanted to do a tree in every season.

Love the perspective and the composition. Love the whole thing actually. Excellent job.

Rural pictures with the single tree are wonderful. I am sure that the farmers are doing it for the photographers.

I love shots like these....openness, trees, leading lines.......you got it all here.

Beautiful shot. It does almost seem as though that lone tree is trying to catch up with the others, but cannot due to the "fence". Thanks for sharing your photos :)
